The Benjamin Harris Institute is proud to put on the patriot’s literary contest.
Declaration 250 is an open invitation to the American patriot, in celebration of the 250th Declaration of Independence.
Declaration 250 is the literary competition showcasing America’s best. The competition has two submission categories: historical essay and poetry. Patriots can submit to both categories. Winning submissions will memorialize a moment of American excellence from 1763 until 1789. New works and recently published nominations are accepted.
Patriot’s submissions are accepted here until midnight EST July 4th.
Winners will be announced August 1st.
I apologize if this has already been asked, but what happened to the Washington Institute and the articles that were written there. I really enjoyed several of those articles.
Is there any limits of length for poetry? I suppose verse is fine?
